Ohana volunteer opportunities

Become an Ohana volunteer and help transform mental healthcare for our kids. We are looking for those with prior experience working in:

  • Art - art therapy a plus
  • Music - music therapy a plus
  • Recreation - physical education, yoga, team sports, etc.
  • Teaching - all grades
  • Behavioral health
  • Mental health - including substance use

How to become a Volunteer

If you want to become an Ohana volunteer, you should be willing to:

  • Commit at least one year of service
  • Commit to at least one volunteer shift per month. Shift length will be determined by the volunteer service you join – typically shifts are 2-4 hours. Some services may require two shifts per month.
  • Provide proof of vaccinations

Ohana volunteers are required to:

  • Be able to provide a Social Security number, as each applicant receives a background check
  • Receive a flu shot, or sign a flu declination form during flu season (October-April)
  • Receive a TB test
